About Me

Originally from the UK, I’ve built a life shaped by travel, culture, and curiosity. I’ve lived in France, Mexico, and now Michigan, USA, where I continue exploring the world from a new base—visiting places around the world and introducing family and friends to life on this side of the Atlantic. My love for cultural exchange began early, working with English schoolchildren to help them experience France, and later organizing travel itineraries throughout France.

Professionally, I’ve spent my career in Executive Administrative and Office Operations roles, eventually growing into payroll, benefits, and Human Resource Management. Customer service has always been at the heart of what I do—something I learned as a child while working in my father’s grocery store. Today, I enjoy supporting employees and helping them get the most from their employer-sponsored benefits.

My passion for helping others also extends into community service. About ten years ago, I began volunteering at my local Police and Fire Dispatch center, which sparked an interest in the fire service. I trained as a Firefighter and EMT-Basic and have proudly served my community in this role for more than eight years.

Beyond work and service, I’m happiest discovering new places, trying local foods, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I love sharing these experiences with my family, especially my daughters, and encouraging them to see the world with curiosity, openness, and adventure.
